Much more than tequila!
If you plan your Mexican trip carefully, mass tourism can be avoided.
On the Pacific Coast, south of Puerto Vallarta, you’ll find some wonderful
boutique hotels. The beaches are untouched and inviting for wonderful picnics
-you can even dive for your own oysters and crawfish. A highlight is the hour-long
horse-back rides with the hotel’s horses. The hotels are very quiet and
offer only the purest nature.

Baja California
A dream for golfers and deep sea fishers, otherwise mass tourism is everywhere.
In addition, the town of Cabo San Lucas doesn’t offer much! North of Cabo
San Lucas offers untouched nature – particularly nice for whale watching
– with endless beaches. But, as in all of Mexico, one must keep in mind
that this is a favorite travel destination and as a result often caters to mass
tourism.

Hacienda de San Antonio
If you want to experience a real hacienda, visit San Antonio. This is a wonderful
house – very intimate yet spacious. A dinner on the large roof terrace
with an open fire and 1,000 candles will linger in your memory for a very long
time. Coffee is planted on the hotel premises; you can also visit the orange
plantations.
