Travel by train and post-bus or by car to Saas Fee. Just outside the village, you’ll leave your car and be picked up by hotel buggy. You can really pamper yourself at the lovely Walliserhof – the room with its own whirlpool is very nice! Saas Fee offers many attractive hikes. And a ride on the Metro funicular is particularly thrilling!

If you prefer getting completely away from it all, book the Fletschhorn – a magnificent hotel with a famous restaurant belonging to Irma Dütsch. It may be a little on the pricey side, but worth it. You should by all means indulge in an evening with Irma Dütsch and her husband. Tasting the many Valais wines is a real thrill. Even the most critical wine connoisseurs will be impressed!
