Each year around September the oyster festival takes place in Galway. It’s a true gourmet festival merged with the enthusiastic Irish culture! Watch them competing opening oysters or compete yourself! Surrounded by much attraction, music and plenty of Guinness you will experience a great Irish weekend. Not far from the town you find an impressive old castle turned into a hotel the Glenlo Abbey. The other option is to try out the very chic and proud St Clerans Manor house – amazing!
